Wesley House - Whisky Tasting Supper

Whether you are a Whisky Lover or a Whisky Virgin, a tasting event is the perfect opportunity to sample, savour and learn more about whisky.

The award winning shop Arkwrights presents five different whiskies, carefully matched with five mouth watering bowl food dishes as detailed below:

"Talisker Distillers Edition" (Chicory, walnut, celery and stilton salad)
"Longrow CV" (Thai chicken curry)
"Douglas Laing Provenance 1997, 11 year old Benrinnes" (Slow braised Scottish oxtail with roasted root vegetables)
Aberlour A bunadh" (Salmon fishcakes with lemon mayonnaise)
"Oban Distillers Edition" (Orange and dark chocolate mousse)

The Whisky Tasting, presented by Arkwrights (a boutique Whisky shop in Wiltshire) will be run by owners Ken and Fran Thomas. Fran says: "It's the joy of helping peoplle discover that whisky isn't just an old man's drink and that it is incredibly versatile. We are delighted to be working with Wesley House. The dishes they have created for the tasting are so imaginative and complement the whiskies perfectly. Anyone can enjoy a whisky tasting evening. As you expect it is a lively and chatty affair, especially as the night goes on"!
