Wool in Winchcombe from 14 April till 5 May

As a unique heritage Town, what better way to celebrate one of Winchcombe's important historical treasures?  WOOL IN WINCHCOMBE will be holding a series of events to be shared and enjoyed by textile enthusiasts, children and adults.

The BIG KNIT will be taking place in St Peter's Church, where everyone can take part, whilst listening to Shepherd's Crook who will be performing village songs and historical talks on wool.

WOOL I NEVER (knitting for beginners) will take place at the Old Tea House on 14th April.  Any volunteers willing to teach beginners on that day will be in for a treat.  If you would like to take part or would like to be a volunteer please contact Kelly at the Old Tea House on 01242 604363 for more information.

Winds of Change Gallery will be showcasing British Wool and natural yarn products by Wool Soft, Coln Valley and Rachel John.  There will also be demonstrations by Rachel John, inventor of Extreme Knitting.  There will also be spinning, weaving, felt-making and much more ........

A full schedule of events can be seen here.  Anyone wishing to take part in WOOL IN WINCHCOMBE should contact Jane at the Winds of Change Gallery.  The more the merrier!
