Fantasy Forest is a festival that brings all genres from the world of sci-fi and fantasy together in one place. A one-stop event for lovers of sci-fi & fantasy fiction, fantasy art, comics, Cosplay and historic re-enactment – it welcomes all. Catering to fans from Game of Thrones to Star Wars; Lord of the Rings to Marvel superheroes; pirates, fairies and medieval days of yore, there’s something for everyone. Now an annual event, this lively festival provides a varied programme of family-friendly entertainment. The historic grounds will be transformed with enchanting fantasy-themed activities including the UK’s largest Fantasy Market, talks by fantasy artists, roaming costumed characters, live bands, workshops, historic re-enactment and more. Medieval performance group The Sherwood Outlaws will be on hand to lay on fight demonstrations, soft archery, storytelling and children’s craft activities.
