Winchcombe Help Initiatives – Covid-19
Listed below are a group of initiatives from local residents and business owners, to aid Winchcombe people through the current Coronavirus crisis. What a wonderful lot they are.
Retail Businesses Information
Most town centre retail businesses in Winchcombe were open as of Friday 19 June, but not always for their full ‘normal’ working hours. The link below shows opening hours for the shops, (in a few cases the information was from online sources). The situation is very fluid, and it is important to find out whether somewhere is open before visiting, a phone call in advance might be sensible.
Hair and Beauty establishments
Currently closed, hoping to reopen around Jul 4.
Car Parking
TBC have extended free parking in all their car parks including Back Lane and Bull Lane car parks. Payment wont resume until 13 July.
Winchcombe Medical Centre
FACE MASKS TO BE WORN BY PATIENTS ATTENDING THE SURGERY:
In line with the hospital we are asking all visitors and patients to wear face coverings when attending the surgery from the 15th June 2020. You can do this with a homemade cloth mask or your own surgical mask.
Face coverings should NOT be used by children under the age of 3 or those who may find it difficult to manage them correctly. For example, primary age children unassisted, or those with respiratory conditions. More Details.
Retail Business Survey
Tewkesbury Borough Council want to hear from retail businesses in the borough who may be preparing to reopen soon. This short survey should only take a few minutes to complete and will help them better to understand your plans for reopening and provide the opportunity to let them know whether there is any help you might need. Survey can be found here.
