Once again Winchcombe Museum are holding a series of talks in the Methodist Church Hall on Thursday afternoons at 2:30p.m.  Entry will be just £4, including refreshments.  A great way to cheer up the winter months and find out some interesting facts about Winchcombe.  Everyone is welcome.

10th October: Speaker: Anne Crow: ‘Exploring the past at Belas Knap’

14th November: Speaker: Mark Newsum:  ‘The History of House and Home in 100 Wooden Objects’

12th  December: Speaker: David Aldred: ‘Helping the historian: place names in the North Gloucestershire landscape’

9th January: Speaker: Helen Brown: ‘Michael Cardew at Winchcombe (1926-39), a pottery and its customers‘

February 13th: Speaker: Anne Crow: ‘Once they lived in or near Winchcombe’

19th March: Speaker: Carol Harris: ‘Winchcombe within living memory – almost!’
