There’s the bluegrass-swing of Gillian Welch’s “Red Clay Halo,” complete with aw-shucks whistling; the Celtic-blues of their self-penned “Anniesland”, a song for the late-great Rab Noakes; and their metal-like riff-driven arrangement of Molly Tuttle’s “Dooley’s Farm.”

The walk is an opportunity to learn about seasonal wild plants growing all around us that we can use as medicine and food to benefit our health. You will learn all about the traditional uses of wild plants, herbal folklore, as well as how to safely identify, sustainably forage and prepare wild herbs for making basic herbal remedies at home.
Various wild herbal teas will be tried on the walk (so do bring a mug!) and you will receive a handout of remedies and recipes to make at home.
