Fancy a little adventure into the unknown this Halloween weekend?
We’ll start from Winchcombe and make our way towards Belas Knap, but this time we’re going to venture a little further off the beaten track!
There’s a trail near the mound that leads down towards a rather gnarly old tree. I’ve explored part of it before, but there’s still more of the track that I haven’t ventured into yet… so who fancies coming along to see where it takes us?
We’ll explore the track, head back out towards Belas Knap and then continue on a circular route before eventually rejoining the road we started on.
Expect woodland, countryside, muddy paths, autumn colours and hopefully a little bit of spooky atmosphere along the way!

- Please dress appropriately for the weather and remember it could be chilly at this time of year!
These walks are friendly, informal group hikes led by myself through my love of the outdoors and local knowledge of the area
- Distance: approximately 8km
- Duration: about 3hours
- Parking: Pay & Display – £1:50 all day
Anyone joining the walk does so at their own risk and is responsible for their own safety, wellbeing and personal belongings. Please make sure you are comfortable with the distance, terrain and conditions and come prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear.
