06 Sep Autumn at Sudeley Castle
Make the most of the season … take a stroll through Sudeley’s gardens
15th September – 3rd November
All day
Tickets: available with general admission
The foliage around Sudeley’s ancient Tithe Barn frames the castle in seasonal glory, before walking up Sudeley’s tree-lined Magnolia walk towards the Dungeon Tower. At this time of year, ivy clings to Sudeley’s ancient stone walls along the East wing and turns a rich shade of red, creating a living mural of the changing season. As you explore the estate, walking on the crunching leaves beneath your feet, you’ll encounter ten contrasting gardens, including the Knot Garden where the once-vibrant vines are tinged with gold and russet. Sudeley’s Secret Garden is not to be missed, and is home to some of the most spectacular floral displays of colour, the season has to offer.
