Come to a festival or a show!

Each year Winchcombe hosts a number of festivals,  and a popular Country Show.

The Walking Festival takes place in May and invites you to lace up your boots and explore our walking trails on a guided walk from Winchcombe, the walking capital of the Cotswolds. The annual three-day event is run by Winchcombe Welcomes Walkers and attracts hundreds of people from across the UK and beyond. Booking is essential.

Giffords Circus is a vintage village green circus that tours the UK every summer.  Having first visited Sudeley Castle, Winchcombe in 2014 they have returned every year since.  Packed full of fun, enchantment and skill we look forward to welcoming them again next year, April 2027.

Party in the Park takes place in June and is a free family-friendly music festival! Organised by local talent and supported by Winchcombe and surrounding areas, this event has proven to be a great day of live music, community spirit, and fun.

During a sunny weekend in July, you can sample an array of real ales at the Cotswold Beer Festival which has been running for more than 40 years at the historic Postlip Hall, just outside Winchcombe.

On August Bank Holiday Monday it’s the annual Winchcombe Show, a great family day out packed with entertainment, stalls, dog agility, arena displays and a show marquee brimming with blooms, crafts, cakes, art and vegetables. The Show is taking a break this year, but we hope it will return in 2027.

The 2026 Winchcombe Christmas Festival will take place over two days – Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th December – with a traditional Christmas Market on Thursday and an exciting new Christmas Shopping Trail on Friday.  With over 50 market stalls on Thursday and around 20 festive pop-ups in shops and venues across the town on Friday, there’ll be plenty of opportunities to shop local, discover independent traders and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
