31 Dec Cleeve Common – Family Fun Friday: Bird Boxes and Nature Stomp

Create a bird box to take home … help support local birds as nesting season approaches

Arrive at 10:30am inside the clubhouse at Cleeve Hill Golf Club. Here we will build and then paint wooden bird boxes. Bird boxes are for you to take home and put up to help birds as nesting season approaches. As the paint on our boxes dries, we will head out for a nature walk on Cleeve Common where we will search for birds, fossils and any other winter delights we can find (as weather permits). £10 per bird box, includes all equipment needed. Booking essential. Please book a place per box being made to take home. You can build a box as a family (recommened for younger children as this invoves using srewdrivers and wood glue) or children can do one each. Please book accordingly. Numbers limited. Recommended for children aged 6yrs and above, younger siblings welcome.
