Cleeve Common Nature Journaling

Cleeve Common – Nature Journaling in Wardens’ Wood

Wander through Wardens’ Wood, slow down and draw what we see … not what we think we see

Thursday, 27th June
5:30pm – 7:30pm

Journalling what we see, not what we think we see, enables us to gain a deeper connection to our surroundings, promoting curiosity and well-being.
In the two hours, we will be walking in Wardens’ Wood with sit stops to draw what we see, smell, hear… Our aim is not to create a masterpiece but to enhance our connection to nature through the medium of drawing.
Suitable for ages 10 years to adult, a lovely activity for you to do alongside your child and is suitable for all abilities. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult also taking part in the workshop.
Basic drawing materials are provided – a pad and drawing pen, which you can take home afterwards to continue your journalling journey – but feel free to bring along coloured pencils/camera if you have them but NOT essential.
Feel free to bring along a picnic to enjoy after the event in the tranquillity of Wardens’ Wood.
You will be guided by local illustrator/printmaker Amanda Steer.

  • Cost: £13 per person (plus booking fee)
