Cleeve Common – Nature Journaling in Wardens’ Wood

Wander through Wardens’ Wood, slow down and draw what we see … not what we think we see

Saturday, 29th March
2:00pm – 4:00pm
Cleeve Hill, GL52 3PW

Join local illustrator Amanda Steer on a wander through Wardens’ Wood as we slow down, and draw what we see, not what we think we see.
Journalling what we see, not what we think we see, enables us to gain a deeper connection to our surroundings, promoting curiosity and well-being.
In the two hours, we will be walking in Wardens’ Wood with sit stops to draw what we see, smell, hear… Our aim is not to create a masterpiece but to enhance our connection to nature through the medium of drawing.
Suitable for ages 10 years to adult, a lovely activity for you to do alongside your child and suitable for all abilities.
Basic drawing materials are provided – sketching paper and a drawing pen which you can take home after to hopefully continue your journalling journey.
You will be guided by local illustrator/printmaker Amanda Steer

  • Cost: £11.50 per person (plus £1.67 booking fee)
