27 Apr Free Town Walk
Guided town walks led by local people
Sunday, 3rd May
11:15am and 2:30pm
The Undercroft, High Street, Winchcombe GL54 5LJ
These short free walks are led by local people who are keen to share some of the history of the town.
They are for anyone, visitor or resident, who is interested in the fascinating history of Winchcombe – from ancient Saxon Borough to World War 2 and the present day. They are short and easy: designed to be accessible to all, lasting 1-1¼ hours and covering less than a mile – all on pavements or hard surfaces around the town centre.
They will start and finish at the Undercroft (Museum / Town Hall).
Dogs on leads are welcome.
We are always happy to welcome new people to join us as guides; so, if you are interested in Winchcombe and its history and can spare just a few hours a year, then please contact us.
