Let go of conventional methods of painting landscapes!

Your tutor, artist Jane Powell, will teach you to go-with-the-flow, and create beautiful landscape images from an expressive and abstract starting point.
This is a chance for you to create art by letting go of rules and conventions, to feel freedom and joy in the making of art, whilst creating paintings that you are proud of. We will be looking at typical compositions of land and seascapes to help us create the finished pieces.
We will be using with a limited palette of acrylics and lots of tools to create interesting marks and textures. Working on a big sheet of paper gridded with tape into small squares, we will create small semi-abstract landscapes and seascapes for you to take home.
