“Mrs Warren’s Profession”

Screenings come to the Izzy and we start with National Theatre Live.
This brand new release stars five-time Olivier Award winner Imelda Staunton (The Crown). She’s on stage with her real-life daughter, Bessie Carter (Bridgerton), for the very first time as they star in George Bernard Shaw’s incendiary classic.
Vivie Warren is a woman ahead of her time. Her mother, however, is a product of an old patriarchal order. Exploiting it has earned Mrs. Warren a fortune – but at what cost?
Filmed live, this new production reunites Imelda Staunton with director Dominic Cooke (Follies, Good), exploring the clash between morality and independence, traditions and progress.
This is our first screening at Isbourne Arts so join us as we premiere a brand new way of enjoying theatre in the Izzy.
