Winchcombe Festival of Music & Arts

Midsummer Music & Arts

Welcome to Winchcombe’s annual festival of culture

Continuing a grand tradition, Winchcombe will be staging a fabulous festival from 22nd June1st July.

This year, the festival will wear a fresh new look and name to produce an outstanding programme of music, arts, creative workshops, and stimulating talks.
Highlights include an art competiton for school kids, big choirs, sax and song, blues, jazz in the garden as well as Ukulele, Boogie Beats and morning StoryTime. Sudeley Castle Adventure Park will host a free entry, exciting play event for kids and the new Sudeley Pavillon will be the scene for music and comedy acts. The town pubs will buzz with band gigs and there will be special events with Shakespeare themes in private gardens. Throughout, the Arts & Craft fair will showcase talented local artists and offer workshops to discover new crafts. The festival will end with a big bang Youth Festival on 1st July in Winchcombe’s New Park which will rock with a vibrant programme spotlighting young performers, youth bands and Graffiti fun.

The Festival is run by a wonderful team of volunteers and could not take place without the vital backing of individuals and organisations who give their time and provide funding for many events. We appreciate the generosity of the town’s churches and businesses who make their venues available free of charge.

We are delighted to support the Greening Winchcombe movement by featuring their themes in several of our events. A talk from Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust highlights their current projects and what we can all do to safeguard wild animals and plants, and our two craft workshops to be enjoyed by families include Recycling Reborn and the Nature First Hedgehog group.

Lots more information about the Winchcombe Festival of Music and Arts, including details of events and booking online tickets is available on the website.

The Festival is a non-profit making organisation run by people in Winchcombe, bringing live music and arts to Winchcombe.  We showcase local talent as well as many wonderful performers and artists from further afield.

We’d like to thank all our sponsors for their generous support this year.
