The new branch will feature a post office counter for sending mail and home shopping returns. It also offers customers a wide range of other services including every day banking services for High Street Banks, bill payments and pre-order currencies.
It will be open 78 hours a week and customers of the main UK banks will also be able to access accounts at the new branch. It will also have services including cash withdrawals and foreign currency, postage, home shopping collections and returns.
Andrew Kendry, store manager at Co-op Food in Winchcombe, said:
“The Post Office provides vital services for the local community and we’re so pleased to announce the opening of a new Post Office Local in our Winchcombe store early next year, ensuring access for as many local people as possible
We look forward to welcoming our members and customers to make use of the great Post Office Services, while also being able to pick up fantastic products and everyday essentials in-store.”
Damien Haydock, Post Office Partner Account Manager, said:
“Our goal is to make it as convenient as possible for customers to manage their finances, whether it’s depositing cash and cheques, withdrawing money or checking balances – all at a time and location that works best for them.
We understand the vital role our services play in people’s lives, and we’re confident that this new Post Office will provide the Winchcombe community with easy, reliable access to everything they need. At the Post Office, we’re always striving to evolve our network to better meet customer needs, and opening this branch is part of that ongoing commitment.”
