Incredible find of 111 Roman coins from around 350 AD

These bronze Roman coins were recently discovered on a hillside at postlip by detectorists who have kindly allowed the Museum to display them. Come and see these beautiful and rare objects that were in use here almost two thousand years ago.

Housed in the former Town Hall, our friendly, volunteer-led Museum brings to life the town’s long and rich history, and gives the chance to explore, enjoy and be inspired by the past in and around this ancient Cotswold town.
