31 Jan Cleeve Common – Nature Journaling in Wardens’ Wood
Wander through Wardens’ Wood, slow down and draw what we see … not what we think we see
Saturday, 9th May
10:30am – 12:30pm
Wardens Wood, Cleeve Hill. GL54 4EU
Journalling what we see, not what we think we see, enabling us to gain a deeper connection to our surroundings, promoting curiosity and well-being.
You will be guided by local illustrator/printmaker Amanda Steer.
In the two hours, we will be walking in Wardens’ Wood with sit stops to draw what we see, smell, hear … Our aim is not to create a masterpiece but to enhance our connection to nature through the medium of drawing.
Suitable for ages 10 years to adult, a lovely activity for you to do alongside your child and suitable for all abilities.
Basic drawing materials are provided – a sketching ‘zine and a drawing pen which you can take home after to hopefully continue your journalling journey.
