Isbourne Arts – The Churchfitters

A folk band like no other

Friday, 27th March
7:30pm (doors and bar open 45 minutes before performance)
Isbourne Arts Centre, High Street, Winchcombe, Cheltenham GL54 5LJ

Following a sell out show at the Izzy in March 2025, the Churchfitters are back.
A folk band like no other – their instruments include a motorcycle petrol tank, musical saw, saucepan dulcimer, bing-bong machine and magic boots, all joining more conventional instruments, including fiddle, banjo, sax and whistle.
Rosie Short’s sublime voice is backed by Chris Short, fiddle, mandolin and vocal harmonies, and Boris Lebret, bass and lots more. These flamboyant characters describe their music as ‘Folk Unlimited’, Mike Harding calls it ‘Brilliant and beautiful’ and David Pegg says they are ‘The most musically inventive group I’ve seen in years’.
