Winchcombe Players – Death By Radio

A Murder Mystery Dinner

Winchombe Players proudly present their first ever production: raising funds for the Winchcombe Arts and Community Hub (WACH) and Winchcombe Players.

It is 1944 and, due to bombing in London, the BBC has relocated its weekly live recording of the long-running radio drama, “The Mystery of the Mummy’s Curse”, to Winchcombe Junior School. You are invited to attend the recording and join in with the broadcast. The cast has assembled, but one of them is about to be cruelly murdered; come along for an evening of food and fun as you work out who was murdered, why and how?

Price include nibbles and a 2 course dinner.
A licensed bar (cash or card) will be available plus Raffle. Prizes will be awarded for the best WW2 themed fancy dress.

To ensure that the highest amount of proceeds from the event can go to our charities, the Eventbrite Admin Fee of £2.28 has been added to the ticket face price of £20.

The newly formed Winchcombe Players are proud to present their first event on Saturday 11th May at the Abbey Fields Community CentreIt promises to be an entertaining evening of interactive Murder Mystery set in WW2 with 2 course dinner provided. Proceeds from the event will be split between Winchcombe Arts and Community Hub (WACH) and the Winchcombe Players.

If you would like to join the fun and take a role in the cast we’re holding a Casting Workshop at St Peter’s Centre, Gloucester Street, on Monday 18th March at 7:00pm. We are particularly in need of 2 or 3 cast members who can convincingly play characters in the age bracket 20-35.
We already have contact details for a good number of people who are interested in helping with the bar, catering, technical side and front of house.
