Hell of the North Cotswolds

The original & classic British Off-Road Endurance Cycling Event

Promoted and organised by Winchcombe Cycling Club and Cheltenham & County Cycling Club. HONC is a Non Competetive on & off-road challenge aimed at experienced riders. It is run under British Cycling Rules & Guidelines & over challenging routes across the hills & valleys of the beautiful Cotswolds, using a combination of roads, tracks & bridleways, with significant off-road sections.
This event, now in its 39th year, will be held at Sudeley Castle, on Sunday 1st September (gates open at 6:30am).  Start times will be staggered between 7:30am and 9:00am.
Choose on the day between 100km for experienced & fit riders and 50km for those who know just how tough the off-road Cotswold Hills can be. You can also ride 75km by following the 100km route to the food stop & then following the 50km route to the finish.

Following last year’s successful launch, Mini HONC is back!  In partnership with Cheltenham Town Wheelers, aimed at junior riders aged 8-16, this is a three-hour enduro event that takes place at the Start point at Sudeley Castle.  Riders take part in teams o complete as many laps of the circuit as possible.  Entry for the mini HONC can be found on the Cheltenham Town Wheelers website.
