Giffords Circus at Sudeley Castle

Giffords Circus at Sudeley Castle

Experience the magic of Giffords Circus at Sudeley Castle from 10th – 20th May.

Giffords Circus is a vintage village green circus that tours the UK every summer. It is much more than a Circus, it’s a magical nod to an old fashioned circus with a glamorous twist. It’s a side-splitting show directed by comedy genius Cal McCrystal that appeals to both young and old, and with a cult following of local farmers, rock stars and A-list celebrities. Step inside the tent into a colourful madcap world of acrobats, jugglers, horses, musicians, dancers and Tweedy the Clown. A production that would rival any West End show.

The Circus first visited Sudeley Castle in 2014 with Greek tragedy “The Thunders” and had such a warm reception they have returned every year.  When they arrive each spring, they nestle the tent and wagons next to the ancient horse-chestnut trees with their white candle-like blooms, whilst buzzards ‘mew’ overhead and frothy cow-parsley lines the country lanes.  A truly magical experience.
